July 22nd 30 Years of Near Death Research: The Greyson Prospective This year marks the 30th anniversary of Raymond Moody’s book that first coined the phrase “Near Death Experience (NDE)” and the research it sparked. We are honored to have Dr. Bruce Greyson, who has been at the forefront of NDE research past and present, as our guest on this weeks show! From the early days of validating the NDE to the recent and exciting studies that raise the question of where does consciousness reside, Dr. Greyson will bring his broad prospective into an easy to understand view of the evolution of NDE research.

Pearls of Wisdom: A Gift from Our Guides Cindy ~ As Human’s, we have a tendency to clutter up our path so that we can’t move forward with ease and grace. The problem is that clutter is not just a metaphor in most of our lives. We tend to collect stuff. How many books do we have unread or dust collecting goodies we just couldn’t leave the store without? Not only do we have our own clutter, but sometimes our loved ones contribute to our chaotic surroundings. Granted, we have some control (although I admit defeat when it comes to books) of our own collecting habits, but we often have no control of a child or mates clutter bug issues! A pearl of wisdom granted me was the energetic solution for dealing with clutter when we can’t actually do anything about getting rid of it right now. Every time you walk past that pile of stuff (or room of stuff), bless it and let it go. Just surround that pile with every bit of love that you can. “I love my stuff, your stuff, their stuff and I love the person who won’t clean up their stuff.” (Even if it is me). The goal isn’t to ignore the stuff. You can’t ignore it. The goal is to shift the energy of the stuff so it isn’t so toxic to handle! As you see the energy of that pile loose its negativity, you will be able to start to chip away at it. If it isn’t your stuff, you will see your anger around it reduce and the negativity in the house decrease. The pile may not go down, but the house will be more pleasant. We can’t change someone else, but we can change our attitude toward them and their stuff. Dave ~ In my life review, it was shown how my life could affect others. By experiencing my life review with love and non-judgment I can accept that I have faults and strengths. By recognizing this I could start to make myself a better person. Acceptance was a seed that was planted in my near-death experience. Even as small children we know when we are going against our true nature. But as we grow older we start to fit in. Many times trying to fit in goes against our true nature. I like to call our true nature, “our truth”. Our truth is not like factual truth. It is a truth that can sometimes be an understanding beyond us and our experiences. The Near-Death Experience: Dave’s Personal Story Dave ~ My Near-Death Experience (NDE) taught me a new way of living life. In my NDE I met what I call my soul group. They showed and shared my life in a review beyond anything in this life. In this review of my life, I could feel what others experienced when I interacted with them. I could see ribbons of light energy exchange between us and everything in our environment, even when we were not speaking to each other. That showed me there is an interconnection between us and our world. I believe the common thread of that interconnection is love. The love I felt while in the light was so great it is indescribable. I look forward to telling more on the show. Cindy ~ I love to experience a group when Dave is telling his story and listen to the questions people have for him. Knowing him has convinced me that death is not an ending, but just another transition like graduating high school. It’s a little scary but it is the next step in our evolution. The love, acceptance and lack of judgment that is available to us there make me strive to be more like that when I am here. I think you will find Dave’s story exciting and inspirational! 30 Years of Near Death Research: The Greyson Prospective Dave ~ I first met Bruce Greyson last year in Virginia Beach at the IANDS (International Association of Near Death Studies) National Conference, where I was a guest speaker. Dr. Greyson is one of the founders of NDE research. His list of credentials would take up the whole ezine. I was impressed with the way he is able to convey detailed scientific data in a way even a beginner can understand. I'll be asking him questions about the early days through today's cutting edge research. NDE research hasn't been able to tell us what an NDE is, but it has validated the experience and documented many of the life changing effects. I am very excited to sharing an hour of Dr. Bruce Greyson's prospective on NDE research experience with all of you on July 22nd.
Intuition or Imagination: How Can I Tell? Cindy ~ “How do I know it’s real??” is such a common question! It is very healthy to question. It is so easy to label our hopes and dreams as intuition. Actually, if your intuition is always telling you what you want to hear, it very well might be your imagination. Seriously, though… Intuition is always non judgmental and usually unemotional. It rarely goes against common sense but usually requires faith to believe in yourself and your world enough to follow it. It does not tell you to run away but often tells you to let go. It is rarely heard as “Noah, build me an ark”, but will more likely to come as a thought. “Hmmm, I wonder how boats are made?” or a sign like “Boy, I keep seeing a lot of ducks!” Also, don’t be afraid to validate your intuition. It is through validation that you will be able to have the faith to take you to the new heights that your intuition can envision for you! Dave ~ I agree totally with Cindy, when I was developing my connection to Spirit I would test until I became comfortable with the new insights. To help in developing my connection I used my creativity. When you work with your creativity, I believe you are closer to your heart and your truth. That is when hearing Spirit is much simpler. I used my creativity to hone my intuitive connection. In that way I taught myself to be a silversmith. I was amazed how inspiration could show me how to fabricate and cast silver.
