sorry that there was not a Spring 02 or a Fall 02 issue. Three spine surgeries
and moving to a new home and office in Skaneateles NY, put us behind. This year
we hope to keep on track. We hope this did not inconvenience anyone and we will
make every effort to be more timely with our installments.
We look forward to sharing all sorts of loving spiritual ideas and stories that
will help you bring more simplicity into your spiritual life as well as your
everyday life. We find that inspirational stories and understanding some basic
spiritual principles have helped many of us to weed through the mass overdose of
Spiritual information out there. We will make every effort not to add to an
already overwhelming amount of information.

The Year of The
Hierophant
2003 in Tarot Numerology is a 5 Year. That means that The Hierophant Tarot Card
rules 2003. The Hierophant is also known as The Pope. He stands for big brother,
corporations, institutions, the Internet and even the Mafia. The United States
is a 5.
What does this mean for our year ahead. Well, since the United States is also a
Hierophant, you may find that the US plays a bigger role in the world. The
United Nations, also a big brother of sorts, will most likely be front and
center. It is a year when society, rules and regulations as well as traditional
moral values prevail. This could be seen in a strong support for religious
institutions and figures. It could be a year where The Papacy (the Pope) may
change hands or, for some other reason, make the news.
There should be a call for all religions to respect each other and there may be
some ecumenical meetings between the world religions that are aimed at support
and cooperation.
Now since everything is a duality, you will find the rebel is also active this
year. Already we are seeing peace marches popping up. There may be problems from
rebel forces starting skirmishes.
The Internet will be part of our focus this year more than others in the past.
If you are thinking of a project that uses the Internet as a tool, this could be
a good year to start that project. The Internet could also come into focus as
being used for good or bad, so just make sure you are on the right side of that
line! One way or the other, plan to see the Internet on the news this year!
You may find that although the United States has strength this year, societal
rules will still need to be obeyed and it would be hard for us to go to war
without some sort of world support, especially from the United Nations and other
world groups.
On a more personal level, our own inner lives will be effected by the
Hierophant. Either your rebel will cry out and demand to be heard, or you may
find yourself feeling guilt and pressure to live up to societies demands and to
conform. Which it will be depends on you and the growth that you have
experienced over the past few years.
The Hierophant calls us out of the closest. We cant hide at home and complain
about the way the world is. The Hierophant calls us into action. It is one of
the most powerful years for us as we learn the lesson that you get more changed
by living in the world and being active than by sitting at home complaining.
Change is made from within and The Year of the Hierophant puts that power in the
hands of those willing to become involved in the society they wish to change.

Living with Spirit at all times
In the last ezine I spoke of the Sacred Silence and made mention of Living
with Spirit at all times. Well I better clear up a few things. I do not hear
Spirit at ALL TIMES!!! (Although Teacher and fellow Near Death Experience-r,
Margaret would tell me I can.) Margaret is a wonderful teacher who no longer
wishes to teach. She is the only person I have met (besides the His Holiness
the Dalai Lama) that can live with Spirit present at all times. Being in their
presence brings Spirit very much closer for most folks to hear.
I believe we have natural rhythms in our spiritual journeys. Rhythms that work
like a circle. At the beginning and end of a new rhythm we have an adjustment
period to get used to the new incoming vibration. This time can sometimes be a
tough transition, although it doesn't have to be. At some of these cycles we
are more on our spiritual paths. At other cycles we are closer to our human
(mind/Self) side. This is all natural but confusing for most.
My greatest spiritual leaps, in this life have a stormy start. I really mean
Stormy (Sand Storms, Crashes, Storms at Sea and Cancer). But after each I come
closer to Spirit. Then at other cycles I would move away from Spirit or stay at
the same point not growing spiritually. During all the cycles Spirit was there
and I just had to listen. If I quieted my Self and spoke with Spirit I could
sense the beginning of a new cycle. My new cycles, most of the time would come
around the same time each year, but not always. Remember the stormy side in this
life, for me. Sometimes when I was wandering too far from Spirit, I would need
a real smack from Spirit to kick-start me into the next level of acceptance.
Acceptance of my ability to hear Spirit on a day-to-day basis was not an easy
road for me. I had to test it, question it and some times argue with it. I
think that is real for everyone I have talked to. I have learned that many times
we do not know where the information comes from but I know the results are
astounding and true. I also have learned you do not have to have the rocky road
I had.
How? Most importantly you need to be accepting of the cycle you are in and
grateful for the experience. Look for the positive in every experience and stay
away from the negative as best as you can. When I was diagnosed with stage IV
cancer and only six weeks to get my affairs in order, I was thankful and
grateful for the experience. Friends thought I was not accepting it at all.
They did not know I had accepted it long ago at the beginning of this life and
again at my Near Death Experience. I did not choose to believe what others told
me because I could hear Spirit and I knew I was on my path.
Maybe in the spring we will have to talk about how does Spirit Communicate and
what exercises we can do to help.
