Everyone keeps asking me what worked for me.  Well after a friend asked, and said she had already gone to my website.  I realized I didn't have any of that information here.  Here is a list of some of the things I did to get my cancer in remission.  The first thing is attitude.  You must have a positive attitude that you are going to put the cancer in remission.  That's the part you really have to do.

bullet One thing I took to fight the fatigue was called PROPAX it is a supplementation to chemotherapy to reduce fatigue and other chemo toxicities.  It is a packet of four pills and an oil capsule.  That gave me a lot more energy.  You take from 1-3 packs a day depending on the severity of the fatigue.  It also helps your stomach absorb more of the nutrition your body needs.  I'm in remission now and I still take 1 pack a day.  You can get more Info at their web site at www.propax.com Check out the ingredients and you will see a lot of items that are written about as alternative therapies for cancer.

bullet Another thing I took was called ESSIAC tea a native herbal Cancer Remedy.  I take 2oz and mix it with 2oz of hot spring water.  I do that when I get up and when I go to bed each day.  I found a local brand at the health food store.  Its made of four herbs, Burdock, Sheep Sorrel, Turkey Rhubarb & Slippery Elm.  My Wife said it tastes like dirt but I hardly notice it now.  The chemo is going to make your taste buds go a little crazy.  The taste of this was not to bad for me.  This one has been around for a long time it was given to a Canadian nurse by a medicine man and a number of folks have used it as a cure.  I used it with my treatments and I still take it once a day when I get up.  A good book about it is called:

Essiac : A Native Herbal Cancer Remedy   by Cynthia Olsen

This book is a no frills, frank discussion of the use of essiac to build up the immune system so the body can fight cancer and many other immune related diseases. The history of the discovery of native use of essiac by Rene Caisse and how she was able to use it successfully to help a large number of people is very encouraging to potential users of essiac today.  I continue to use Essiac tea every day.

bullet The Third thing I used was for the immune system. After a while on chemo the immune system gets weak.  When mine got bad my wife even took this so she would not get a cold or flu and pass it on to me.  What I’m talking about are mushrooms.  Reishi, Maitake, Shiitake, Cordyceps, & Coriolus.  I take them as capsules by a Company called NewChapter Organics the capsules are called Host Defense.

You can get them at your health food store or on the web go to their website to find a store near you. http://www.newchapter.com/

All I can tell you is this helped me.  But everyone is different and you have to go with what feels right to you.  Do not let anyone force you to do what doesn't feel right.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  Get the troops out and have everyone start prayer for the person that is suffering.  Faith is the greatest healer and I believe in the power of prayer.

And when you visit your friend with cancer you need to treat them like normal.  You know, like you did before they found out.  If you used to tease them, then tease them now.  Be real that is what they want.  If they want to talk about tough subjects, let them, be a good listener & supportive of their wishes.
