Trip Summary

This trip provided me with a list of "More thans".
I have seen more of many things than ever before in my life.

I have seen more

• Palm trees
• Joshua trees
• Saguaro cactus
• Yucca plants
• Motorhomes
• Very expensive motorhomes
• Roadrunners
• Carpeted acres of dirt
• Ostriches

I saw the biggest meteor I've ever seen streaking across the sky. I waited in the longest line for a longer time than I,ve ever waited in line before. The long wait was a test that showed a person could put up with just about anything when accompanied by friends.
I think I walked more and farther than I have since I was in the U.S. Navy. The attractions at the FMCA convention were well worth the walk. I think I even began to feel better after walking across the campus, even though the first couple of days my feet really hurt.

This trip has been a fun experience and I am ready to go again. I am glad our friends invited us to go along on this adventure. Our son was very surprised that I enjoyed myself in the desert. I haven't been one to have fun in the desert, but being with friends during a cool time of the year made for a very nice trip. I will be returning in the future to see places missed on this vacation.
