System Requirements
This Vietnamese tutorial requires the following:
- An IBM ® PC or compatible computer (Check out our Macintosh information.)
- A 80386DX or better microprocessor (80486 or Pentium ® preferred)
- A sound card with speakers or headphones
- A 4x or faster CD-ROM drive (*) (**)
- A Super VGA or better display with 256 colors at 640x480 resolution or better (**)
- Microsoft ® Windows ® 3.1, 95, 98, 2000, ME, NT or XP.
- Not for use with Windows Vista
- The recommended RAM for the operating system
- 6 MB of free space on the hard disk
(*) A slower CD-ROM drive will work. But you will have to be a bit more patient waiting for the images to be displayed.
(**) You can also purchase a version which does not require a CD-ROM. This special version has no pictures or sounds. It is useful if you want to study Vietnamese on your laptop without a CD-ROM.
