1/1 1932: The Molotov Auto Factory at Gorky [formerly Nizhnij Novgorod], a giant of socialist industry, starts production.
1931: First service of the Turkestan-Siberia railroad.
1919: Proclamation of the Belorussian Soviet Socialist Republic.
3/1 1939: Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on the texts of the military oaths for the Worker-Peasant Red Army and Worker-Peasant Navy.
1921: Death of Civil War hero A. Ya. Parkhomenko in battles against White bandits. Born 1886.
1920: Liberation by the Red Army of Tsaritsyn (now Stalingrad) from Denikin’s White Guard bands.
6/1 1933: Delivery into operation the first order of the Stalin Metallurgical Works at Kuznetsk.

14/1 1876: Birth of Lado Ketskhoveli, brother-in-arms of Comrade Stalin at the dawn of the start of Bol’shevism in Transcaucasia. Died 1903 at the hands of Tsarist executioners.
15/1 1934: Formation of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Oblast, becoming the Chechno-Ingush ASSR in 1936.
1920: Liquidation of the Eastern Front. Restoration of Soviet power in Siberia.
16/1 1922: Obrazovanie Kabardino-Balkarskoj avtonomnoj oblasti; s 1936 g. -- ASSR Formation of the Kabardino-Balkarsk Autonomous Oblast, becoming the Kabardino-Balkarsk ASSR in 1936.

21/1 1924: Death of Vladimir Il’ich Lenin – leader and teacher of the world proletariat, founder of the Bolshevik Party and the Comintern, organizer of the victories of socialism, greatest genius of humanity. Born 1870.

Accusations by the unspeakable L.D. Trotsky that Comrade Stalin had "poisoned Lenin" simply reflect the diseased mind of that arch-degenerate and Judas, inspirer of fascism, who himself plotted harm against the great Lenin at every opportunity.
