"I have read and re-read your information and must say I have a new dog. Chyna wasn't happy with the new rules but has adjusted to them in just a short time. She has become much less aggressive and actually pleasantly greets my neighbors and her vacation dog-walkers. Her least favorite change has been that she is not allowed into the bedroom with me at night but she is getting used to it. One of the hardest things for me to do during her aggressive stage was even to get her leash on let alone walk her. It is now a treat to get her ready and go for walks. She does recognize me as the alpha in her life now and it has really made a difference. Thank you again for your help and suggestions."

"Thank you for your article on BECOMING ALPHA. I have a 4 year old, neutered male, Toy Fox Terrier. I have had him a little less than a year. He came from a shelter and may have been abused before he was owner surrendered.  During the past two months he has displayed ALL the unacceptable Alpha behavior mentioned in the article, changing from a sweet little pooch to a vicious terror. Things are going much better now, but the article clarified the problems and solutions perfectly. (My vet wanted to euthanize my dog at the very beginning.) Thankfully, I didn't listen to him, I sought out another vet. Your article was a great help in assisting me in refining my dog's behavior."

"I just read the "Who's in Charge Here? A Lesson in Becoming Alpha" article and I feel as though I hit pay dirt. I did not realize that I was actually encouraging this behavior in a lot of ways. Such as, we just recently relocated to a different area of the country and I started giving the dog "special treatment" thinking that I was helping him make the adjustment. Such as letting him sleep on the floor in our bedroom when he is used to being an outside dog. There were many other things that I was doing according to that article that was encouraging this behavior and I never realized it until now. It was though that article was written for me! "I called my vet again when Snickers was beginning to bite us a lot more and he mentioned to me about the "Alpha Male (and or Female) Syndrome". He told me basically all about it but we didn't know how to take care of it. We went on the internet and found your article. Well, let me tell you what - - - your article was exactly what we had happening here in our home. 

"I read your article and I knew right away it was going to help us!!! I knew right away that it was going to work for us.  It is so perfectly written, so easy to understand and in our case so absolutely right on the money for what has been going on in our house. We all started him on his canine boot camp and after the FIRST DAY I noticed a change in him. It has now been a couple of weeks and it is working fantastic!!!
