Read "Norm's" story in Gallery of Happy Endings! Wisconsin Chow Chow Rescue
Since 1985, Wisconsin Chow Rescue gave dozens of homeless Chow Chows a second chance at the life of love and happiness that every pet deserves. Our volunteers provided services from saving Chows from the brink of death at animal shelters to helping owners learn more about their dogs.

As of February 1, 2005, we have retired and closed our foster program.  We won't be accepting any more Chow Chows into foster care.  ~However~ we still provide help to find homes for needy Chows through our referral and networking programs and we still help people find Chows to adopt.  We are not out of business by any means!

For listings of Chows available in Wisconsin and other states, visit the Chow Chow Club, Inc. Welfare Committee's  National Chow Chow Information and Adoption Center.

If you previously adopted a Chow from us, we'll still be here to provide you with advice and support and to take the dog back if your circumstances should change in the future.  We've always stood behind the dogs we place and always will!
