The Chows listed below are available for adoption through animal shelters, private parties or caretakers.  The space for these listings is provided by Wisconsin Chow Chow Rescue as a service to the Chow Chow breed and the Chow Chow Club, Inc.'s Welfare Committee. Cicero, New York:  Chow Chow Rescue of Central New York, Inc. has several Chow Chows for adoption. Placements outside New York can sometimes be arranged.  Visit their website for more information.
San Diego, California: The San Diego County Animal Services shelter has several Chow Chows for adoption.  For pictures and more information, visit their website.
Baraboo, Wisconsin: (near Madison) "Katy" is an approximately 5-6 year old spayed blue female that is described as "an absolute doll in the house".  She's well mannered, loves to go for walks, and is best suited as an only dog in an adult household. Homes with fenced yards are preferred.  For more information, contact her foster home by email.   Arroyo Grande, California: Odin is a 5 year old red male Chow Chow whose owner passed away.  He's neutered and reported to good with children.  Best for a home without cats.  For more information, contact his caretaker by email.
